The Enduring
There comes a time in every journey when one pauses, not merely to look backward, but to understand the road that has been traveled and the destination toward which it has always pointed.
This book marks such a moment. Fifty-nine books have preceded it. Some were born from personal testimony. Some explored the mysteries of faith. Others examined Scripture, history, prophecy, theology, love, covenant, redemption, and the enduring relationship between God and man. A few were stories intended to inspire. Some were questions asked in search of truth. Others were declarations of convictions forged through study, prayer, experience, and grace.
Yet as I stand before this sixtieth door, I find myself asking a different question than any I have asked before. Not, What have I written? Not, What have I accomplished? Not even, What have I learned? Rather, What endures?
