There are seasons in the life of a Christian seeker when familiar paths no longer suffice— when the soul senses that truth is both wider and deeper than the boundaries we have inherited, and yet more exacting than the compromises we often attempt.  An Orthodox Journey was born from such a season. It is the fruit of long contemplation, careful comparison, and a desire to behold the fullness of the faith once delivered to the saints. 

The night before His crucifixion, Jesus lifted His eyes to heaven and prayed a prayer unlike any other recorded in Scripture. It was not a parable, not a teaching, not a warning, not a prophecy. It was the Son speaking to the Father with the full weight of eternity behind His words. And at the center of that prayer—spoken in the shadow of the Cross—was a single, radiant desire: “ That they all may be one.”

This book is an exploration of that prayer.

The story of Scripture is the story of one God, one covenant, and one redeemed people unfolding across the ages. From the call of Abraham to the visions of John on Patmos, the Bible presents not two religions, but a single divine narrative—rooted in the promises made to Israel and fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world. This book seeks to explore that unity with clarity, reverence, and fidelity to the King James Version of the Holy Scriptures.


For two thousand years, Christians have lived with a promise burning in their hearts — the promise that the Lord Jesus Christ will return in glory. This expectation is not a marginal doctrine, nor a speculative curiosity. It is the blessed hope of the Church, the anchor of Christian perseverance, and the radiant horizon toward which all Scripture points. In every generation, believers have watched, waited, and prayed, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Yet in our own time, many sense that the long‑awaited moment is drawing near.

Prayer is the breath of the Christian life. It is the first cry of the newborn believer and the final whisper of the departing saint. It is the language of dependence, the posture of humility, the expression of worship, and the lifeline of faith. Yet prayer is also a mystery.
We often do not know what to say, how to say it, or even why we say it.
We feel our weakness.
We sense our ignorance.
We recognize our need. It is into this weakness that Jesus speaks:
“After this manner therefore pray ye.”

The call of Christ is a call to undivided love. Scripture does not present the Christian life as a negotiation between two competing loyalties, but as a decisive turning of the heart toward God. The apostle John speaks with unmistakable clarity: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” This is not the voice of legalism, nor the burden of religious severity. It is the voice of a loving Father who knows that the world’s promises are empty, its pleasures fleeting, and its rewards corruptible.

Artificial intelligence arrived quietly, almost imperceptibly, and then all at once. Within a few short years, it moved from a novelty to a force shaping communication, culture, economics, and even the inner life of individuals. For the first time in history, human beings converse daily with systems that speak fluently, reason persuasively, and respond with uncanny familiarity. The world has never seen anything like this — and neither has the Church.

Yet the greatest danger is not technological. It is spiritual.

There is a quiet wonder in the way children see the world. They do not divide life into the “possible” and the “impossible.” They do not measure truth by evidence or probability. They simply believe — freely, joyfully, wholeheartedly. A child can meet a character in a book or on a screen and welcome them into the inner world of imagination as naturally as breathing. Peter Pan can fly, and so can they. A talking bear can offer honey, and they will gladly accept it. A lion can be noble and wise, and they will follow him without hesitation.

Adults smile at this innocence. And then, somewhere along the way, they lose it.
